ERIN U. STARKEY, LCSW
I am passionate about helping people flourish through building positive relationships with their mind, body and food. As a Black, mixed race clinician I am driven daily, in all that I do, by the legacy of those that came before me and I am committed to making the world better for current and future generations to thrive. I authentically and eagerly share my vast professional knowledge and lived experience through my therapy, coaching, and speaking services.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Health & Well-Being Coach who has worked as an interdisciplinary well-being expert and respected leader for over 15 years. I hold a BA in American Cultural Studies from Western Washington University and a MSW, summa cum laude, from University of Illinois at Chicago. I'm a proud alumni of the IMPACT Leadership Development Program created by the Chicago Urban League in partnership with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a past participant of Chicago Women in Philanthropy's Women's Leadership Mentoring Program. I previously worked as the Director of Mental Health Support at SGA Youth & Family Services, an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Jane Addams College of Social Work, the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, and a Health Equity Strategist with Justice Informed. |
